An
American guy in Florence. Definitively easy
if a tourist, barely beliaveable if the american guy is 100%
made in Florence. But that's the way Max
Panconi usually appears like taking his first chords:
Florence borne down-to-the-bone, incredibly
american-styled lookalike.
The project that he leads, The Max Panconi Orchestra,
has all the good gear to finally get awarded as a rare sample
the way it would be possible, even in Italy, to recreate that
old magic "mix fifties" that belonged to the holy
monsters Elvis
Presley,
Eddie
Cochran, Gene
Vincent (and the later Bryan
Setzer Orchestra), that the whole actual pop-rock
music takes inspiration from.
The Max Panconi Orchestra definitively belongs
to the rock'n'roll origins. |

The attempt to recover the original sound pattern of a musical
concept that has got substantial modifications through the years,
but that's still the logical basis of all the stuff you can
hear on broadcasting right now.
"Ciao Bella" is the first single
edited from "The Max Panconi Orchestra"
project.
The band formed around guitarist Max Panconi,
who is also lead singer, as well as autor of almost all band
repertory.
"Ciao Bella" was all released in
Florence, keeping the very "old style" sound masterboarding:
every instrument was truly played; no samples or studios alchemy
whatsoever, but deep close attention to recreate the atmosphere
that kind of music belonged to. |

The Max Panconi Orchestra is the natural evolution
of the previous Max's band, Gattimatti,
which had a long road on success performing rockabilly during
last years,
in the standard team guitar, double bass and drums.
The Max Panconi Orchestra is a real big live
band featured an highly spectacular show, performing both classic
hits than originals, all strictly Swing arranged but affected
anycase by energy and koolness that just rockabilly music could
features.
The mixing output is a superb and powerfull sound that comes
out from some traditional range, figures The Max Panconi
Orchestra a real breakthrough and mostly, a not-ordinary
project.
Currently The Max Panconi Orchestra is involved
in the commercial promotion of the hit single "Ciao
Bella", as well as recording old classic and original
for a forthcoming album.
